Did I go too far on this punishment?

you did not go to far i would have taken away every piece of electronics he had away and i would have not let him go and i would have punished him for doing that that is horrible no offense and im a teenager so its not like im another parent if i did that i would tell my parents to give me every punishment they could think of like i sed no offense to u or him
