Does waxing thin hairs make them grow stronger? thanks in advance?

I'm waxing my stomach, I heard waxing strong hairs makes them grow weaker over time, but I'm not sure about those thin but visible hairs. It just looks bad if a part of your stomach doesn't have any hairs and another part does.
