Hit in the eye with a tennis ball?

I was hit in the eye with a tennis ball earlier today. Right after it happened the bottom half of my vision was dark, shady and blurry. It's about six hours later but when I walk in the dark I still get this shady ball of blurry vision and it is really bothering me. What do you think this means and is it serious?
