Question about giving my cat up =-< ?

So I have to move out in 2 days. I can't keep my 4 yr old cat any longer. I've tried asking friends.. coworkers.. the vet.. anyone and everyone I know.. no one can keep him. He's an awesome cat and I've trained him to jump up on my shoulders from the ground at command... he's unbelievable and my heart is broken. I can't bring myself to take him to a shelter.. I cant risk him being put to sleep.. is there any place I can take him that have a good reputation for placing pets into good homes?? Any place that won't kill him?? He's so sweet and awesome (the only cat I can actually describe as being awesome...). I won't let him go to a shady home. He needs a lot of attention.. and he's got a special (and more expensive) diet for his urinary disease.. but should live a healthy and long and normal life with his diet.. anyone?
